Many minor conditions can be successfully treated at home without the need to see a GP. There are lots of sources of information and support including the NHS website www.nhs.uk, NHS 111 Online 111.nhs.uk and your community chemist / pharmacy.
Minor and self-limiting ailments which patients should visit their local chemist to ask the Pharmacist for advice about before asking for a GP appointment include:
