Are you a Carer?
Carers can be any age but they all need help and support!
A Carer is someone who provides unpaid, often intensive support to family or friends who could not manage without that support. They could be caring for someone who is ill, frail, disabled, or has mental health or substance misuse problems.
Anyone can be a Carer regardless of age circumstances or background and a person’s caring role can sometimes last for decades. Sometimes people care for more than one person or often have a disability or are in poor health themselves. Some carers even have a paid job alongside their caring role.
The bottom line is Carers need help and support and this is available!
